communities.

Handmade sourdough. Café goodness. Creative spaces.
Events that inspire. Rooted in wellbeing, sustainability and bold conversation

About Narture

We’re a social enterprise and creative hub driven by the belief that everyone is an artist. From our sourdough bakery to open-studio spaces and events, we nurture creativity, wellbeing, sustainability and community in Ayr and beyond.

Knead Bakery

Fresh, handmade sourdough baked daily with sustainably sourced ingredients, championing gut health as much as flavour.

Cafe/Bar & Venue

More than just a cafe/bakery: a place to connect, relax and refuel with craft-led food made from scratch, served alongside coffee, tea and sit-in or takeaway meals.

Make & Create

Two spaces for artful collaboration: workshops, artist residencies, riso printing, community dark room access, all designed to help ideas flourish.

Local artist and wellbeing studios, plus flexible hire spaces for makers, thinkers, and culture builders. Develop your practice or grow your project with us.

Why It matters:
Mission Impact

At Narture, we’re on a mission to inspire creativity and celebrate the arts, while respecting nature. We believe that food and art are powerful tools for wellbeing and regeneration. With every loaf of bread we bake, we fuel creative life in our town centre, making space for people, ideas and collaboration to thrive.

Born from a creative experiment during the pandemic by artists father and daughter team, Robert & Saskia Singer, what started as repurposing empty spaces has grown into a network of bakery, café and cultural venues that serve, support and stimulate community life.
