Why It matters:
Mission Impact
At Narture, we’re on a mission to inspire creativity and celebrate the arts, while respecting nature. We believe that food and art are powerful tools for wellbeing and regeneration. With every loaf of bread we bake, we fuel creative life in our town centre, making space for people, ideas and collaboration to thrive.
Born from a creative experiment during the pandemic by artists father and daughter team, Robert & Saskia Singer, what started as repurposing empty spaces has grown into a network of bakery, café and cultural venues that serve, support and stimulate community life.
Handmade Sourdough for
Health & Community
Our sourdough isn’t just bread; it’s a statement of place and purpose. Each loaf is crafted to enhance gut health, made with mindful methods and ingredients that respect our planet and our people. All profits go back into creative projects that shape conversation and connection.
Creativity
Without Barriers
From beginner drop-ins to deep-dive workshops, Narture’s creative programmes are built to welcome everyone. Whether you want to print on a riso machine, join a community dark room, or exhibit work in a public space; you’re welcome here.
Community
First
We pay fairly, operate sustainably and talk straight. From donating surplus bread to food banks, to hosting events that uplift marginalised voices, our work is rooted in inclusive, real-world impact.
